Well, this day is the special day for all mums -
Mother's day! She's still too young to say "Happy Mother's Day!" but i certainly
look forward to the day she starts to talk...didn't go anywhere except eat and
eat - the well-known habit of most Singaporeans! Foy my family's side, we
celebrated a day earlier at the Soup Restaurant at DFS Scottswalk. The
food isn't that nice and turned up to be quite expensive...after the dinner,
went to DFS jalan-jalan for a while before heading bk home coz it was about 8pm+
already and my gal's bedtime is usually abt 9pm, so cannot stay out too late.
On the actual day, ie. 11 May 08, it was Vincent's family's turn to celebrate.
We went to IMM Long Beach for dinner...oh that day, the crowd was terrible! I
realised all celebrations on actual days, like Lunar CNY, Mother's Day, etc are
always terrible. Crowds are thick, restaurants packed, service in the
restaurants compromised (even though on normal days, the svc is supposed to be
gd), difficulties finding parking space, etc...and the thing is that the food is
NOT FOC! haha..so S'poreans complain no $$..but still willing to spend on such
days...Again, finished abt 8pm, walk for while and went home already coz simply
too tired and was having a headache with the terrible crowds!
